Berghaus Hillmaster GTX
The Berghaus Hillmaster II GTX Leather Boots still offer an exceptional level of comfort, fit and protection and while both the fit and the look of the boots are remaining true to their heritage and have not changed there have been just a couple of very subtle differences in the materials of the upper and the sole to in effect upgrade these classic and cherished walking boots.
So what's new? There are two main changes that Berghaus have made to bring these iconic Brasher boots in line with their own well known technical walking boots range, the first is the upgrade of the leather uppers to Pittards® leather and the second is the choice to use a well-respected Vibram® sole.
Brasher used to use Pittards® leather on their Superlite range and Berghaus have decided that Pittards® would be the perfect type of leather upper for their Hillmaster boots. Pittards® is a world leader in the manufacturing of high quality leathers which was established in the 1820's and is based here in the UK, the full grain leather used on the Hillmaster® boots is soft, supple and durable making it a fantastic choice of uppers for hillwalking and exploring the countryside.
The other upgrade these boots have had is the use of a hardwearing Vibram® outsole. Vibram® is the world leader in high-performance soles and this particular sole has been engineered to offer superb grip and support on both wet and dry terrains.
The Hillmaster Boots still have a GORE-TEX performance lining to offer you guaranteed waterproof protection and comfort through the breathability. They also still feature the memory foam in the collar and tongue and the cushioned supportive footbed making these a fantastic choice of leather hiking boots ideal for exploring hills, valleys and the beautiful countryside too!
